Koch Minerals, LLC is seeking a Market Analyst who willsupport existing and growth business objectives of abulk commodity business unit. The successful candidatewill have the opportunity to be involved in supportingdevelopment of vision, point of view and marketingstrategies to drive growth and profitability. This roleincludes responsibilities around market supply anddemand, customers and pricing and value chain s role also includes team support of multiplebusiness units and development support of short and longterm visions and point of views. Responsibilities willinclude:â?¢ Tracking of market and industry news and dataâ?¢ Trend identificationâ?¢ Regulatory impact analysisâ?¢ Marginal producer/supplier analysis and customeralternative analysisâ?¢ Role will have interaction with marketers, operations,business unit leaders and 3rd party suppliers, customersand/or vendors
Requirements:
â?¢ 1+ year experience in financial analysis, businessdevelopment, marketing or similar field involvinganalytical or financial responsibilitiesâ?¢ Strong analytical skillsâ?¢ Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel andPowerPointâ?¢ Self motivator with goal mentality / team focusâ?¢ Developed communication skills (written and verbal)â?¢ Compliant with all applicable laws and standardsâ?¢ Bachelorâ??s degree in Finance, Marketing or relatedfield from an accredited institution or an advancedBusiness degree from an accredited institutionPreferredâ?¢ Coal mining, processing or trading industry experienceâ?¢ Risk, credit or marketing experienceâ?¢ Financial modeling skillsâ?¢ Business development experience
