Job Description
At a time when many companies are looking to strengthen their balance sheets and get back to basics, the twin issues of currency and accuracy come to the fore. Many of the key operations of a tax department managing fixed assets, property tax, inventory and/or tax credits can be enormously time-consuming and complex, not to mention frequently scrutinized by state and federal authorities. In addition, newer developments such as FIN 48 and the advent of IFRS have highlighted the importance of maintaining adequate documentation to support your position.
PWC's Tax Projects Delivery Group (TPDG) works with clients on large tax engagements which require a team of specialists with deep tax technical knowledge and experience in key federal tax areas. We can help your company identify permanent cash tax savings and refund opportunities, consider the impact of deductions and credits on your effective tax rate, and apply established methodologies and processes to complex areas of taxation, helping ensure consistency year over year. Our key service areas include:
- Research & Development Credit Services - Fixed Asset & Repairs - Accounting Methods - Like-kind Exchange - Transaction Services - Meals & Entertainment
