General Summary:
Under general supervision, this position will be responsible for planning and forecasting client profitability and pricing new client business. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to work independently to produce and communicate financial analysis at an executive level.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for pricing and modeling profitability for all new business opportunities.
Responsible for maintaining and implementing forecasting models to help predict and model company revenue and expense.
Establish projects that address long and short term needs of the Finance Department. Establish project assignments and priorities. Work with other functional departments to resolve issues, improve processes, and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction. Establishes plans and administers the overall policies and procedures of the finance department. Responsible for establishing standards that demand execution, motivation, and departmental excellence.
Conceptualize, design and implement technological advancements that drive fixed and variable costs down while improving overall sales and departmental efficiency.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications:
Relevant Bachelor's Degree (e.g. Finance, Economics, and Accounting) or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience required.
Minimum 5 yrs experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
Minimum 3 yrs experience in pricing and/or business case modeling
MBA Preferred
Basic accounting knowledge preferred
Exceptional multi-tasking and follow up.
Must be team oriented and well organized.
Must have effective problem resolution skills.
Strong leadership and business management skills.
A strong knowledge of all Microsoft Groupware Software (Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Explorer, Word).
Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint
Demonstrated experience in Hyperion Essbase
Excellent communication skills
Must have a successful track record in planning long-term strategic plans and meeting established milestones.
Power user in Excel
Additional Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Should be informed on current industry trends and technologies to keep business unit on leading edge.
