Lean Six Sigma Black Belt for Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital

Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, WI is currently looking for a Lean expert to join our team as a Black Belt to continue our emphasis on operational efficiency. This full time, 40 hour per week position will have focus on Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital but could involve some system-wide initiatives as well.
In this role you will focus on:
- Applying and teaching Lean philosophies and techniques through education, project leadership, and mentoring
- Establishing and leading value stream management teams to improve delivery of services to patients:
- uncovering and assessing opportunities for operational improvements
- developing and implementing timely metrics that reflect operation's ability to deliver value to patients
- Provide leadership to continuous improvement teams facilitating organizational learning through joint problem solving
- Participate in capacity and demand management of critical services to ensure effective patient flow and access, minimizing overburden and inconsistency
- Participate in facility and workstation layout optimization
- Identify and lead resources required to successfully execute projects
Bachelors degree (required), preferably in industrial engineering or operations management
3+ years of experience leading projects of substantial business impact, with demonstrated success as a change agent
At minimum, green belt trained/certified, black belt training/certification is strongly preferred
Prior green belt/black belt experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
Additionally, the following experiences are strongly preferred:
Teaching and applying Lean/TPS philosophies
DMAIC problem solving
Creating and leading value stream management teams
Identifying opportunities and driving changes in business systems
Capacity and demand management optimization
Facility/workstation layout optimization
Project management
