PURPOSE OF JOB Leads and motivates cross-functional team members in strategy development and implementation of business solutions. Independently performs complex and often unique work assignments and problem resolution across multiple systems, functions, processes and channels. Utilizes complex statistical techniques to identify trends in data and to see causes and consequences of events. JOB DUTIES * Teams with the business to define data needs and requirements to develop human resource reports that solve business problems and reporting needs. Prepares business-related analyses and research in one or more of the following areas: workforce planning, human resource issues and monthly workforce forecasting. * Anticipates opportunities and potential solutions and leads cross-functional teams through the problem resolution process. Responsible for data governance of human resource systems to ensure purity and accuracy of human resource-related information. * Participates with and coordinates analytical support for key decision-makers in setting business goals, objectives, strategies and action plans. Advises senior management on issues. * Determines optimum methodology for retrieving and analyzing current and historical data. Directs analyses, root cause identification, and develops and recommends business solutions impacting the enterprise. * Acquires and applies expert knowledge of the business, its products and processes. Serves as the primary resource for cross-functional team members on escalated issues of a unique nature. Minimum Requirements * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in human resources and/or workforce planning. * Ten or more years relevant work experience. * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. * Expert knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques. * Advanced knowledge of statistics. * Advanced knowledge of data warehouses and data marts. Preferred * Advanced knowledge across multiple human resource data systems. * Ability to influence without authority. * Experience in a consulting position. * Strong executive communication skills. * Expert resource planning knowledge.
