Role Summary/Purpose As part of the Controllership team within GE Capital ReaL Estate Europe, this role will focus on the control of the GL Oracle application , primarily through all monthly and quarterly closings
This person will partner with, IT, / Operations and the US based GE capital Real Estate Oracle teams (GE Capital) .
This person will support all European users and organize training sessions on the application
Essential Responsibilities - Assist all the finance users during the monthly and quarterly closings with the assistance of the Oracle Helpdesk
- Drive the closing processes in Oracle GL
?- Conduct end user training sessions as required
-Work closely with the platforms to help resolve issues related to the GE accounting
-Participate to all finance implementations with an interface to Oracle GL (cash management systems)
-In collaboration with the US based GE Capital Real Estate and the GE capital teams active involvement with all customizations or GSS program changes /
Qualifications/Requirements ? Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience)
? Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance positions, including responsibilities relating to accounting or systems implementations
? Real estate or GE capital experience preferred
? Financial system implementations and/or application support
? Strong communication and team management skills
- Finance / controllership significant background (not IT)
- Ability to work cross-country
- Extensive knowledge of existing systems used in Europe (Oracle GL, Prosper)
- Hands-on attitude
