Our client located in the Concord area is currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join their growing team. Responsibilities: Prepare monthly journal entries Enter monthly journal entries which have been approved Prepare monthly financial statement file (containing journal entries in numeric order and approved, sub-ledgers and sub-schedules) Prepare minor financial information analysis as required Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations (Bank & cash, prepaid, miscellaneous receivables, deposit accounts, intangibles, liability accounts and accrued expenses.) Prepare cost of goods sold analysis Prepare monthly trend report by branch on excel (profit loss, consolidated balance sheet and others as required) Qualifications: 1-2 years experience as a junior accountant. Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook Ability to use 10 key calculator for a variety of accounting functions Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills Must be a team player Ability to work independently, self starter and energetic Trend software experience is an asset.
