Junior Accountant
This position is responsible for insuring that all authorized client rebillable expenses are rebilled to the appropriate client completely, accurately and on a timely basis. Position works closely with many members of the account and accounting teams. A high level of service delivery and key deadlines must be achieved.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
Analyzing client project codes and preparing rebill packages for client account managers
Assure accuracy and completeness of the project costs contained in the rebill packages
Maintain Job Cost Log detailing the status of each rebill package
Following up with client managers to determine the status of the rebillable package
Coordinate with AR and AP departments to insure all adjustments and rebillable costs are properly recorded
Reclassify project charges from billable to non-billable or from one job to another if directed by client managers.
Required Qualifications:
Strong follow through and attention to detail are critical
College degree in accounting/finance or an equivalent of 2+ years relevant a/p work experience
A self starter attitude a must
Strong communication and service delivery skills
Excel and Word proficiency required
Microsoft Dynamics software experience a plus
Strong ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
