Overview:
Macy's, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the Staff Auditor - IT position located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Key Accountabilities:
Perform audits/special assignments that review the Company's information technology infrastructure and business applications in accordance with the annual risk based audit plan for design and operating effectiveness of internal controls (including Sarbanes - Oxley related controls).
Work under the direction of a Senior Auditor or Manager to plan and execute IT audits in an efficient, effective manner and within allotted budget.
Ensure audit findings are written in a clear and concise manner, articulates risk (both business and technology), impact on the internal control structure and develop solutions and recommendations.
Present findings during audit closing meetings to area Senior Management.
Skills Summary:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study (e.g., Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science).
CISA certification and/or willingness to work towards obtaining.
Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of the Company and present audit findings in a clear and professional manner.
Excellent analytic and problem solving, with the ability to review and evaluate an IT operation's overall control environment.
Ability to demonstrate good judgment, professional skepticism, and a strong learning aptitude to understand the Company's business processes and systems.
Sound technical proficiency and the willingness and ability to learn advanced IT environments.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and a high level of drive and initiative is expected.
Travel is approximately 70%.
