Provides accurate and timely financial reporting and accounting services for a variety of Company entities, requiring the application of operational, accounting and financial concepts.
Perform standard cost updates and analysis on a quarterly basis
Assist with implementation on inventory accounting systems and inventory control procedures, including testing and documenting installations and upgrades
Make recommendations regarding inventory accounting and reserves
Prepare month-end journal entries and variance reports
Prepare balance sheets reconciliations
Work with personnel from assigned departments to monitor accounting processes and month-end close
Recommend and implement process improvements
Other duties as assigned by manager
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and/or 3 (three) to 5 (five) years of inventory accounting experience is preferred.
