International Tax Manager
The International Tax Manager will report to the VP, Director International Tax and will be primarily responsible for leading the US and foreign reporting process while acting as a resource for international planning, audits, and controllership initiatives. Essential Functions:* Responsible for US international reporting and responsible for the preparation of Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118 and other various Schedule M-1 computations* Coordinate co-sourcing relationships with outside providers* Responsible for the foreign country local compliance with outside providers and regional finance to ensure that returns are filed accurately and timely * Research tax laws to ensure accurate reporting of cross border transactions related to E&P Pools, Subpart F income, dividend distributions, partnership income, Section 861 allocation and foreign tax credits* Key resource to the international tax group in providing attribute analysis support to various global transactions including repatriation and FTC planning, cross border transactions, M&A, foreign currency 987 and 988 analysis, and other relevant transactions. Review intercompany transactions, including transfer pricing strategies and documentation as well as internal business reorganizations* Prepare or review documentation related to the international and foreign returns regarding FIN48, FAS 5 and audits while coordinating with the Director of Tax Audits* Assist Director Income Tax Accounting in quarterly and annual financial reporting for the international entities while taking an active role in upgrading the reviews to an automated global provision processMust Requirements:* Minimum 7+ year's tax experience with minimum 5 years of international tax reporting tax research and tax accounting at large corporations and/or large accounting firm* Bachelor's degree. * CPA and/or Masters * Degree Strong process oriented individual with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and corporate tax software(e.g. Corp Tax International) experience. Strong interpersonal skills. Travel: Less than 10% Preferred:* Masters of Science Tax * Experience with SAP financial accounting software helpful.
