International Finance Accountant 4

Seeking international finance and accounting specialist to provide business support and statutory compliance guidance/oversight. This will include projects for assigned countries within a regional assignment, including the ability to review, analyze, and validate financial statements, coordinating and overseeing international statutory audits, and leading Service Agreement creation and updates. Requires developing effective working relationships and communicate effectively to key stakeholders and business unit focals, including liaising closely across functions such as Tax, Treasury, Law and Accounting. Individual will also participate in company-wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation team as an international accounting focal.

Will also collect and analyze data gathered to support business development activities, extracting and validating key information from multiple business applications, to draw conclusions and/or summarize results for business operations. Take ownership of assigned processes and key deliverables, working through to resolution with initiative and purpose.

Extensive and specialized knowledge of how to prepare standard and ad hoc internal and external financial reports based on accounting information/data in accordance with company and regulatory policies and procedures. Extensive and specialized knowledge of the financial tools necessary for management to make optimal business decisions.

• Information Technology Fluency
Extensive and specialized ability in the use of personal and network computing hardware and software to maintain and direct project information, such as, statements of work, resource identification and usage, task status, cost estimating and tracking, etc. Extensive and specialized knowledge of processes and tools to maintain, archive, and retrieve digital files. Extensive and specialized ability in constructing/building and providing reports and presentation material as needed for assigned projects. Extensive and specialized knowledge of identifying and gaining approval of testing of established applications to meet project requirements.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Do you have experience managing third-party accounting providers and completing audits?

Do you have experience working on cross-functional teams?

Do you have experience managing international statutory compliance requirements, including secondment and service agreements?

Do you have experience implementing finance systems into foreign (non-US) jurisdictions?

Do you have experience in data analysis and report writing?

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Job related information
Requires supporting off-hour (evenings/weekend) meetings and calls. Up to 20% travel (primarily domestic) possible, based on projects.
