Internal Audit Director - Risk / Compliance / AML
Large Financial Services Firm seeks senior Internal Audit professional to be primarily charged with the responsibility of providing assessments of the company’s risk and control environment. The successful candidate will manage and provide guidance on various independent evaluations of the Firm’s regulatory compliance risk and control environment including Bank Secrecy Act/AML. The candidate must be familiar with compliance requirements for investment and commercial banking, treasury and trade solutions, securities & fund services & consumer banking. Responsibilities include: provide subject matter expertise in Bank Secrecy Act/AML Compliance, collaborates across Audit Group to influence audit coverage, provides executive summary updates on significant matters, interface with global Compliance & various regulators on AML & compliance issues & trends, tracks compliance risks and trends across the industry, etc. Requirements: In-depth knowledge of AML laundering compliance requirements & monitoring operations, strong working knowledge of audit/risk assessment techniques & principles, 15 years of relevant work experience, advanced degree & professional certification(s) preferred. Base salary 175-250k
