Travelers Insurance Operations Leadership Development Program (IOLDP) is a challenging four-to-five year rotational program that employs a curriculum designed to accelerate the development of future leaders in Operations. Participants receive on-the-job training, technical and professional development, enterprise networking opportunities and senior leadership mentoring.
The IOLDP offers a diverse set of rotational assignments within the enterprise coupled with cross-program projects, team committee work and working relationship with senior management. Program participants experience at least four, one-year rotational positions in such areas as:
Account Management, Accounts Receivable, Agency Administration, Claim, Enterprise Market Research & Development, Information Technology, Operational Support, Policy Services, Process Engineering, Risk Management & Information Systems
Participants will also have exposure to areas such as actuarial, finance, product management and underwriting. Each rotation increases in level of responsibility and complexity.
Who are we looking for?
- Undergraduate or graduate degree with a preferred GPA of 3.2 or greater
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Communication, collaboration and leadership abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A change agent with self-awareness
- Initiative and motivation to succeed with focus on building a career
- Involvement in school organizations and activities
- Related work experience, including internships, is preferred
- For experienced candidates, full-time professional experience of four years or less is preferred
- Anticipated start date of June 2012
