HR Business Partner - Retail (Sports Management/Finance/Admin)

Summary:

Administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assists managers with performance documentation creation and delivery/follow up
  • Attends weekly district calls meetings
  • Administers terminations with managers
  • Provides coaching and counseling to teammates and leaders on workplace issues and organizational management.
  • Works with F.P. & A. partners on budgets for hiring and promotions
  • Consults with Legal on specific employment issues and on special projects - i.e FLSA, I-9 audits
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Work with Business Unit managers to assess in-house talent
  • Assists in performance management program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
  • Create Personnel Requisitions for managers
  • Partner with District and Store Management to attract, hire and retain top talent.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervises one employee in the Human Resources. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
