Home Care and Hospice Billing and Collections Specialist
HMS Healthcare Management Solutions Inc. is a financial management organization based in Wallingford, Connecticut that provides strategic financial services to home healthcare and hospice agencies.
We now have an opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced home care/hospice biller/collector. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: electronic bill submission, working accounts receivable, resolving open collection issues and processing complex insurance appeals.
Requirements:
Candidate must have at least three (3) years experience in home care/hospice billing and collections. Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, Hospice and third party payers is essential. Experience using various billing software systems preferred. Excellent communication, problem solving and computer skills are also important.
