Essential Responsibilities:
Research, analyze, recommend and monitor investments across various strategies and industries
Conduct fundamental research and analysis on assigned industry positions by reviewing financial statements, financial modeling, hedge ratios and qualitative data
Generate new investment ideas by reading newspapers, trade rags, sell-side research and other news media
Attend conferences, road show presentations and management meetings
Recommend investment opportunities
Structure financing agreement covenants
Monitor investments (Individual will have "ownership of investments")
Build relationships with management, buy-side and sell-side analysts, traders, rating agencies, sponsor groups, financial advisors and industry experts
Required Skills
1+ years of experience from an Investment Bank or Hedge Fund
