Global Process Manager (GPM) (Sports Management/Finance/Admin)
As the Global Process Manager for the indirect Source-to-pay process, you will be joining a team of professionals who are responsible for the ownership and development of the vision, strategy and deliverables of global process management and it's optimization within the Global Controlling function. As the GPM you will maintain the responsibility and leadership of the indirect S2P compliance around the globe, drive executive sponsorship of indirect S2P optimization for all geographies and affiliates and communicate the process vision to our company stakeholders at local, geo and global levels. You will work with the business and with external parties to introduce process automation and simplification to reduce or eliminate work and to optimize the overall indirect S2P process for our company globally. You will be responsible for the definition of the future Global Process Vision in line with strategic priorities and direction from the Corporate and Geography Controllers, Global GP Director, Finance GPL and FII Program Director. You will be responsible for driving process standardization, consistency and optimization based on industry best practices and global standards. You are responsible for deploying consistent and aligned Global Indirect S2P Metric, for building up Global process policies, processes and standards in alignment with corporate policies and drive adoption across the globe. You will provide support to the Controlling leadership team in assessing detailed process impact associated to existing Projects/change initiatives. Leadership at a senior level is a must and you will manage the deployment and execution of a multi-year indirect S2P technology roadmap action plan. A crucial part of your position will be in global transition and change management. You will lead and foster end-to-end process mentality and adoption of standardized processes, policies, compliance and metric. You will lead transition and change management effort for the global indirect S2P related topics.
Requirements for the position include:
ú Bachelor's degree, with a concentration in Finance or Accounting ú Minimum 8-10 years experience in Finance and Accounting, in an Accounts Payable Management role. Extensive experience working in finance processes and ideally in sourcing, procurement and/or the accounts payable space. ú 2 additional years of experience is generally accepted in lieu of degree level education ú CPA and/or MBA preferred ú Track record of owning and managing global scale Accounts Payable operations a plus ú Regional and/or global process experience is essential and shared service experience is beneficial ú Thorough understanding of accounting controls, with deep experience in A/P, invoice processing, payment and disbursements ú Experience in SAP environment ú Strong verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations ú Ability to effectively communicate complex or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience ú Ability to elevate strategic concerns to senior management in a timely and accurate manner ú Ability to develop strong working relationships with management and external resources ú Strong knowledge of cross team collaboration, sound judgment and ability to provide information toward the determination of policy and strategy and have the ability to exercise high degree of professionalism ú Demonstrates leadership capability, including ability to inspire, involve and mentor others ú Ability to lead complex initiatives and project teams ú Ability to create new ideas, generate consensus and work cooperatively ú Readily establishes relationships both inside and outside of our company, and maintains them over time ú Effectively uses network to expedite progress towards goals ú Is results oriented and always has the end state in mind, and drives towards results in the most efficient and effective manner ú Process change leadership skills are essential ú Demonstrates ability to effect change and continuous improvement across diverse stakeholder groups ú Displayed ability to build capabilities and to manage programs and/or process management efforts related to indirect S2P in a lean approach ú Establishes strategies to support our company's global direction ú Maintains a high degree of organization to make the best use of time and effectively handle a number of competing priorities ú Set the vision & strategy for Transition Management deployment in the global S2P process. Drive TM principles and methodology across the entire process and all geos and Affiliates ú Act as an Sr. internal consultant on transition management strategy/deliverables for regional and/or global strategic change initiatives within the S2P process ú Stay abreast of external best practices in the indirect S2P space through active participation in Global networks, forums, etc. ú Communication: Develop the TM communication strategy and communication plan for specific initiatives to generate momentum, raise awareness and influence behaviors across the organization ú Support Change and Transition by ensuring appropriate TM training throughout the organizations involved in the S2P process
