Global Mobility Analyst
This opportunity is for an active contributor in the Global Mobility Office (GMO) to support international assignments for US-based employees. The GMO works in conjunction with Northrop Grumman business units, sectors and key functional areas to ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements to mitigate the risk of conducting international business. As a GMO analyst, you will be responsible for assisting expatriates with all aspects of international assignments, to include: international assignment agreements (IAAs), immigration, visas, issue resolution, foreign tax administration, host country labor laws, allowances and premiums. A GMO analyst is also instrumental in tracking expats and travelers worldwide via ITRIP, Northrop Grumman's proprietary system for international travelers and assignments. Routine auditing of transactions is required. A GMO analyst is accountable for delivering internal consulting services such as being a subject matter expert for GMO processes and certain countries.
Success in the role requires the ability to build partnerships across a diverse set of stakeholders. Adaptability, sound judgment, independent thinking, follow-through and initiative are essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed for presentation development and delivery and daily interactions with managers and employees. Individual must foster and maintain positive relationships and collaborate with GMO team members to ensure service delivery.
As a GMO analyst, you will support the development of proposals by estimating expenses associated with global staffing requirements. Strong financial acumen and understanding of Northrop Grumman entities, contract types, financial structuring (cross charging, charge strings, rates) related to international contracts is preferred. Individual must be able to understand moderately complex contracts or pricing issues.
Individual will actively participate in all aspects of global mobility and contribute ideas and suggestions on process improvement including development of procedures and special projects to align GMO services with the needs of the business. You will support development and delivery of tools to improve business education of GMO procedures and protocols to support compliance and assignment success. As a GMO analyst will have operational responsibility for day-to-day operations of assignments primarily to Europe.
Basis Qualifications 6 years with Bachelors; 4 years with Masters

Preferred Qualifications International business exposure
Previous work experience in corporate environment or immigration law firm required
Project management experience
Global Mobility experience
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
