Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager
Gourmet Table Skirts and Linens is a leading designer and manufacturer of skirting, linens and accessories for the hospitality industry. For the last 30 years, we’ve experienced success and steady growth based on our promise of impeccable quality, fast service and unequaled dependability.
We are currently hiring for the position of Bookkeeper/Office Manager. As a member of the Gourmet family, you will contribute to a friendly, casual, fast-paced environment, working alongside and directly reporting to the Owner/CEO. The ideal candidate will have outstanding management and leadership skills, communication skills, an accounting background, and will perform the following duties:
Responsibilities:
Perform and supervise all accounting functions, including:
AP/AR
Bank reconciliations
Bank transfers
Invoicing
Payroll
Sales commission calculation
401(k) and Retirement Plan administration
Manage office staff (three direct-reports) as well as numerous indirect reports
Perform all office management duties
Interact with clients, vendors and employees on a daily basis
Perform office HR functions, including payroll, hiring and terminations
Communicate frequently with company CPA
Requirements:
Required Skills:
Proficiency with QuickBooks
Full cycle accounting experience
Experience directly managing an office staff
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong negotiating and organizational skills
HR experience a plus
Proficiency with PayCom is preferred
Experience using ACT! preferred
