FN01 - Financial Analyst
Sr. Financial Analyst Kelly Engineering Resources has an immediate need for a permanent/direct hire
Sr. Financial Analyst located in Vancouver, WA. The successful candidate will conduct financial analysis and justifications related to expense and capital commitments, trend analysis and business optimization.
The job duties include: • Participate in developing and managing OverHead rates.
• Participate in the budget and planning process: Manage aspects of the budget and planning process for Sales.
• Create financial reporting packages: Work with management and other members of the Finance organization to produce accurate and timely financial reporting packages for a variety of audiences, including senior management.
• Management Analysis: Partner with management and other members of the Finance organization to develop and maintain reports and analysis supporting the goals and objectives of the company
• Exercise professional judgment to forecast, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data on a periodic basis.
• Develop and modify complex financial models, including historical and forward looking trend analysis.
• Represent the Finance department at various interdepartmental meetings by attending and actively participating within project team meetings, providing financial and operational information as needed. Report back to the Director of Finance pertinent information about new project developments and other changes.
• Assist in coordination and preparation for quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting.
Ensure that all reports and analysis are produced accurately, in an effective and efficient format.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - 5-8 years progressively responsible experience in financial analysis and OH rate management
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, DAR/FAR, etc.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Excellent analytical skills; strong written, verbal, and presentation skills required
- Excellent proficiency with MS Office - advanced in Excel
Education: • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced degree a plus.
