We have a new opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Analyst to join our Financial Systems team within the International Finance department based in Windsor.
Responsibilities - External:
Responsibilities Include:
- Either as a project team member or project lead, undertake a key role in the development of replacements for our existing insurance processing and insurance accounting and reporting systems to ensure financial, regulatory and statutory reporting requirements are adhered to. - In conjunction with other areas within Finance, Information Services and Operations, develop and enhance systems to provide further efficiencies and to meet evolving statutory and financial requirements and business objectives. - Requirements gathering and documentation - Development of financial test plans - Provide support to investigate and resolve issues surrounding the provision of information that impact the financials. - Ad-hoc tasks as required. Qualifications - External:
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst within Finance ideally in a multinational insurance environment. - Firm understanding of day-to-day financial activities and principles within a global organisation and able to demonstrate through hands on experience. - Proven experience of conducting financial testing. - PeopleSoft Financials experience an advantage. - Confidence to challenge processes and practices. - Self motivated with excellent planning, communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. - Flexibility for occasional travel.
