Financial Process Improvement Specialist
Finance and Performance Management Systems Manager
We are seeking consultants to assist our clients in transforming their finance and perfmance management capabilities.
Responsibilities may include:
Analyzing finance and accounting processes to identify issues and inefficiencies
Creating process and/or technology based solutions to enhance and streamline end to end finance processes based on leading practices
Directly supervising or coordinating the work of others on a small/medium sized team
Managing client expectations
Prioritizing and overseeing activities of others to meet deadlines and quality standards
Developing detailed work plans, directing project teams, delivering status, and managing to budget
Coaching junior team members and fostering an active learning environment. Providing advice on procedures/work methods to colleagues
Exhibiting working knowledge of familiar functional areas by calling on previous job experience and training, and practical insight into unfamiliar functional areas
Being a self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, well-versed in finance and accounting terms, latest industry trends, and applicable external factors
Participating in business development and asset development activities
Guiding team through problem definition, issue identification and work plan development using problem solving principles and past experience
100% US travel, Monday through Friday
Basic Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in one or more of the following end to end processes; Record to Report, Procure to Pay and/or Order to Cash
3+ years working in an ERP environment
2+ years software development lifecycle experience
Must hold a Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Software configuration, conversion or detailed process design-prefer experience with SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, Cognos, Hyperion or NetSuite.
CPA, CFA, CA, MBA
Demonstrated experience driving financial process improvements throughout an end to end process (e.g. Purchase to Pay, Record to Report)
Direct experience in creating business change through enabling technologies
