Financial Operations Manager
Our client located in the Concord area is currently seeking a Financial Operations Manager to join their growing team. Responsibilities: - Direct reports would be the AP Supervisor for each company - Ensure control environment is being adhered to within each company (work closely with corporate controller) - Work with service (non trade) vendors to consolidate services where applicable with the objective of reducing costs and leveraging our buying power country wide. - Improve the efficiency of the accounts payable and payment process (investigate technologies) - Address processing problems and errors encountered by AP which may originate from different departments (procurement, sales, etc) - Develop the accounts payable staff through training and education sources - Collect statistics which highlight processing problems (pricing errors, PO cost errors, receiving errors, vendor issues, customer invoicing problems) - Establish a set of statistics and build a dashboard to be provides to senior management. - Implementation of an expense - AP processing system - Implementation of an employee reimbursement expense system - Develop system business tools as required - Manage the activities of the billing coordinator function in order to ensure accurate month end cut offs. Qualifications: 5 Years experience as a Financial Operations Manager (focused on AP) Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook Ability to use 10 key calculator for a variety of accounting functions Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills Must be a team player Ability to work independently, self starter and energetic Trend software experience is an asset.
