Finance Director Residential - West Africa Our client is an emerging international mining company with a growing portfolio of projects located throughout the world. Currently they require a Senior Financial Director, to support an exciting Brownfields Iron Ore project located in West Africa.
Working on site this role will be varied and involves working with a variety of stakeholders across a number of key areas including:
Duties will include driving commercial preparation and implementation of full strategic and commercial plans, mitigation of risk management, contract status reviews, flow down contract terms and conditions, commercial and compliance and also general financial management duties.
You will more than likely be in a similar position and be looking for a new challenging role abroad. To be considered for this role you will possess excellent analytical skills, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrate experience gained working in a similar role in Africa. You will also have a number of years experience working as a Commercial Manager, Financial Controller or in a Senior Financial position and ideally be CPA and degree qualified.
You will also have worked within or had extensive exposure to the mining, mining services or construction industry.
