Internal Audit at SWIFT is comprised of a team of highly skilled, experienced, and dedicated professionals that provides the Board of Directors and Management with independent assessments of the SWIFTs risk and control environment. As a member of our select team, you will be following today's best practices in Internal Audit. Our team members make recommendations contributing to the continued achievement of SWIFTs strategic goals and objectives. As part of our Infrastructure Audit Team, you will work for more senior auditors and assist them in the scoping audits, performing fieldwork, clearing issues, and preparing reports covering assigned audits. You must be able to work as part of a team and, in certain occasions, work independently as required. Auditors are expected to contribute to the department's continuous improvement programme. You must have excellent communication skills in English and command of French and/or Dutch desirable. Your responsibilities will be to Under the direction of Senior Auditors and Audit Management: * Perform detailed audit work in Infrastructure areas. * Assist in the planning, executing, scoping, and performance of end-to-end audit assignments. * Draft relevant and succinct audit issues/findings and audit report sections with pragmatic and effective solutions on control issues to management and customers. * Propose and assist in the development of improved audit tools and techniques. * Once management has requested closure of audit issues, assist in the review of supporting evidence supporting the corrective action. * Provide input on proposed new internal policies that relate to SWIFTs control or security environment. Additional information Some travel is involved (to 20 percent). Education * University degree, preferably in a business or industrial engineering area (e.g. finance, accounting, general business, or industrial management) * Advanced Degree or Professional certification a plus. Experience * 3 - 4 years relevant experience, preferably include internal/external audit, accounting or financial operations in reputable accounting firms or major corporations. Professional knowledge and expertise * Excellent analytical skills; * Excellent communication and planning skills; * A team player, willing to work in a multicultural environment; * Ability to adjust to new environments
