Financial Analyst VTitle: Financial Analyst V Location: KY-Covington This is an exciting opportunity for a senior financial analyst to provide all aspects of financial management to the PI Phone's Covington Site. This includes participating in strategic planning, providing financial leadership for business partners, leading financial planning and business analysis, and coordinating reporting of key financial and operating trends. This work will have direct interaction with PI Phones Covington General Manager, Sr. Finance team and National Distribution Ops team.
The job requirements of this role include the ability to demonstrate extensive to expert proficiency in analytical thinking, business acumen, influencing and management of competing priorities. In addition to supporting the Covington Phones Site General Manager and Sr. Team, this analyst will also support cross PI Distribution Business Case and Investment decisions. The future incumbent must possess a high level of tact, have strong decision making skills and ability to build relationships across a nationally distributed organization.
Primary Responsibilities * Provide proactive leadership on financial and business issues to improve decision-making * Lead business case financial analyses including periodic updates and post-implementation evaluation * Provide proactive financial analyses of issues including effectiveness of existing and enhanced service models. * Build, evaluate and maintain moderate to complex models to support ongoing business analysis and business investments. Enhance models as necessary to account for shifting conditions/ priorities or to drive model improvements. * Develop and deliver presentations and recommendations for Finance leaders and Business partners to inform business management and guide effective decision-making. * Support annual and semi annual Fund Profitability reporting and analysis and Unit costs Development. * Support Phones organization nationally through ongoing KPI development and reporting; Site and National QBRs and ad hoc analyses.
Education and Experience * 10 years experience in financial analysis with a track record of high performance * Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics * MBA Preferred
Skills and Knowledge * Budget management experience, with strong ability to participate in planning, implementing and ongoing monitoring of budgets. * Ability to manage a broad portfolio of work; must possess excellent planning, prioritization, and project management skills * Understands strategic impact of decisions yet able to operate at a tactical level to accomplish tasks * Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of financial data, systems and concepts * Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaboratively work with and influence across nationally distributed organization. * Ability to work at different levels of detail and concisely summarize complex issues * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Make decisions within a broad context with little oversight or guidance Company Overview Fidelity Investments is one of the world's largest providers of financial services.
