Financial Analyst Sr will manage, analyze, research Procurement to Process ( P2P) processes and issues and be responsible for managing banking relationship, cash management and expense analysis. Ensures compliance with the related functional area's policies and procedures, including ongoing updates and acts as a liaison with internal and external customers in order to create well-functioning work relationships.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Prepares financial and business related analysis and performs research in such areas as financial, expense performance, and business improvement. Performing full cycle accounts payable function, including, but not limited to, processing and payment. Creating and maintaining vendor files and resolving accounts payable issues. Assist vendor research and reconciliation of account statements. Processing, reconciling and auditing of travel and expense reports and corporate credit cards to ensure theyare in compliance with company policies.
Provides information for various monthly journal and year-end entries and duties:
* Preparing monthly A/P accrual journal entries
* Assisting with Month End Closing Procedures
* Ensure compliance with the related functional area's policies and procedures, including ongoing updates.
* Ensure compliance with all external reporting requirements, such as GAAP.
* Ensure the timely processing of functions and balancing, related to such areas as account reconciliations (cash and non-cash), research and resolving reconciling items, etc. in a timely manner.
* Oversee the periodic completion of ledger accounts, financial statements, and related reporting for management review and approval.
* Generating year end 1099's and maintaining W-9 files
* Compiling and filing Sales and Use Tax reports
* Prepare spreadsheets and other reports to provide tracking data for department manager.
* Compiles and prepares standard and adhoc financial reports
* Miscellaneous accounts payable duties

Requirements:
Requires a BS/BA in accounting or finance; 2-4 years of experience in general accounting, financial planning, and management reporting; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
PeopleSoft, Query experience is a must.
Must possess high level of skill in Excel and Access.
Exposure to 1099 analysis is required.
Must be a team player, strategic thinker and possess excellent communication skills.
