This position will be responsible for managing all of the finances, budgets and accounting for the on-going national and regional marketing and sponsorship activation of key clients. While a member of our company's Finance team, this position will be closely aligned with the internal company account teams and the client finance team to ensure proper allocation, tracking, billing and recognition of all activities. The position has substantial project management responsibilities and requires a desire to work as part of a large team and a strong sense of independent problem solving.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Work with Program Managers to estimate, track and invoice clients for expenses
Responsible for proper revenue projections, PO generation, invoicing and revenue receipt on a monthly basis across account
Ensure compliance with client driven procurement initiatives and expense reporting
Provide monthly financial reports to account teams and clients with updates across all account related projects
Work with client to resolve accounts receivable issues
Assist in timely approval and revenue recognition of projects across other company business units
Act as the liaison between the Accounting department and the Account teams on a daily basis to ensure a seamless billing and expense tracking process
Assist on overall account team duties and additional programs as needed
Other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a finance related field and 5+ year's experience
Proven success in building positive professional relationships with clients and teams
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to manage multiple people/projects with tight timelines ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team
Interest and comfort with technology and/or event marketing related work history is a plus
