Senior Financial Analyst In this position you will prepare financial and business related analysis and research in the area of finance and other related areas with primary focus on revenue and sales analysis. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Assist in the timely preparation and review of financials, budgets, forecasts and tax filings. * Ensure all financial reports are accurate in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and business unit procedures. * Recommends and implements procedures to accurately audit and measure operating costs. * Under limited supervision, prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, general business conditions and other related areas. * Utilizing PC and/or mainframe based systems and software; compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed. * Under limited supervision, conducts special financial and business related studies and cooperates with other departments in preparing analyses. * Assists in the development of business policies, conducts special financial and business related studies and cooperates with other departments in preparing analyses. * Performs other duties as required. * The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job, and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Education: * Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field. Additional Requirements: * Must have ability to quickly grasp understanding of the organization, work environment, products and process with working knowledge of financial analysis. * Thorough knowledge of accounting theory, practices, principles and regulations. * Organization skills permitting the effective management of several concurrent projects and priorities. * Strong analytical and problem solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills. * Excellent time management skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * CPA strongly preferred. * Strong technical skills required to complete assignments; might be required to train others in area of technical expertise; ie SAP, Access, MS Office Applications, strong Excel skills, including advanced functions / database .
