Description
Key Role: Provide senior-level internal financial and analytical business support to the Midwest and Dayton, Ohio office senior leadership. Analyze, report, and consolidate financial data to ensure the full life-cycle of financial management responsibilities are covered and risk is mitigated. Perform monthly tracking and reporting of internal business metrics using available firm financial systems and report on staff use exceptions, administrative labor and expenses, marketing expenditures, bid and proposal expenditures, headcount and staff alignment, training hours and costs, and ad hoc financial analysis, as requested. Perform audit and compliance management support, including random time sheet audits, resolving suspense issues and missing timesheets, and TIA review and approval through coordination with client staff and the labor accounting department. Perform management and reconciliation of the office procurement card and office indirect purchasing processes. Perform facility management, including space charge-back monitoring. This position is located in Dayton, OH.
Position Description: Acts as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues, concerns and special projects. Interfaces with top management, responding to their request for financial data and resolves report and compliance issues. Prepares special reports and financial studies for management alerts them to significance variances to plan. Coordinates, negotiates and resolves financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation. Conducts and may lead audits. May provide work leadership for lower-level employees. .
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: -5+ years of experience with financial analysis required -Experience with Microsoft Office 2007, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook calendar -Experience with financial business operations or corporate finance -Ability to solve complex problems and articulate and present financial performance and other leadership and governance information to senior management -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:-Experience with supporting internal clients in a government contract and professional services environment preferred -Experience with business intelligence software and its utility in analysis -Knowledge of Hyperion, EssBase, and COGNOS preferred -Ability to be a self starter and apply good judgment -Ability to pay attention to detail -Ability to multitask, maintain flexibility, and work under deadlines -Possession of excellent organizational skills -BA or BS degree in Finance or Business preferred
