Department OverviewRFE IT provides technology solutions across the Risk, Finance and Enterprise Shared Services business functions across Barclays Capital and Barclays Wealth. The COO team within RFE IT is responsible for financial management and analysis, budgeting, human capital management, strategy and planning, internal communications, project/program governance, controls tracking and management reporting.
Main FunctionBased inLondon, this role will function primarily as Financial Analyst for Barclays Wealth, as well as analysing billing for GSDC (BarCap?sSingaporecentre), along with some RFE IT timesheet and reporting.
Main DutiesThe role will look at * Budgeting, planning and forecasting at a cost centre and project level for Wealth Business * Reviewing actual against forecasting for Wealth Business * Headcount tracking * Gather data and reporting for special projects * BPS forecast entry support * Headcount reference data * Time-card analysis and reporting ? Project, Program and Category (RTB, BTB, MW) reviews * Creation and construction of reporting for special projects * Own and reconcile recharges for GSDC (Singapore based IT group) to invoices * Prepare analysis on other expenses: recruitment, contractors, travel and entertainment, etc. * Timesheet and reporting requests and chasing for RFE IT
Person Requirements Great team player that shares and communicates across multiple peers and managers Ability to analyze, identify and correct problems in data that causes problems in reporting. Candidate must have the ability to independently organize workload and tasks in a dynamic work environment. Strong personality Technical skills Excel with macros and pivot experience Experience in powerpoint (pres-builder a plus) Preferred Experience with Sharepoint Financial, accounting or quantitative degree and experience
