Description
Key Role: Act as the lead functional consultant for a DoD program executive office and provide analysis regarding financial management support to the DoD business financial manager. Coordinate all business, financial management, and acquisition duties, including the integration of program goals and objectives, the management of the centralized planning, programming, budgeting, and execution processes, and the analysis of overall financial controls of allocated resources. Support all DoD common processes and systems, including STARS, FMIS, SAP, and iRAPS. Provide analytical support for the coordination and dissemination of other customer funds and act as a representative at programmatic meetings in accordance with DoD. This position is located in San Diego, CA.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: -4+ years of experience with financial management or program management -Experience with financial analysis and business metrics development-Ability to obtain a security clearance required -BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications: -Experience with working in a DoD acquisition command or environment, including OPNAV or OSD preferred-Experience with the PPBE process, including funds execution, financial planning and transaction systems, and budgeting and POM and PR development preferred-Experience with SPAWAR or Navy SYSCOM, including NAVAIR and NAVSEA preferred-Experience with DoD 5000 and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development (JCIDS) requirements development processes preferred-Experience with project management preferred-Experience with work breakdown structures (WBS) preferred -Ability to be flexible-Possession of excellent analytical, problem-solving, time management, and customer service skills
