Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Financial Analyst at our McLean, Virginia location.
The Financial Analyst will work within the budget team of Sunrise and assist with production of the annual budget cycle for Capital Budgets, Operating Budgets, Departmental and Consolidated Budget activities. This role will take the lead in automating complex business process using Microsoft Excel specifically by developing macros for automation. Will manage aspects of revenue planning and develop new business processes to support revenue management during the Operation Budget process. TheFinancial Analyst will provide support to internal and external departments to ensure the daily activities of the budget process are maintained. Responsible for ensuring budget planning are completed timely and accurately. Maintain proper documentation on all budgeting activities for the company. Assist Vice President and Senior Vice President and hoc financial analysis as needed and ensure financial business process controls are in place and functioning in accordance with company policy. Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel with specific modeling and Macro/VBA development..
BA/BS in IT, Finance or related field.
Zero to three years finance or IT experience.
Ability to effectively communicate with supervisor, employees and other team members.
Ability to meet tight deadlines, work independently and demonstrate a sound understanding of the business processes within an assisted living community.
