Title: Financial Analyst IV Location: RI-Smithfield Fidelity Personal Investments (FPI), a division of Fidelity Investments which generates $4 billion in annual revenues by providing a full range of investment products and services directly to individual brokerage and mutual fund customers, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Product group
In this high visibility position, the individual will be responsible for working with FPI Product management in Brokerage and Cash Management and internal Finance partners within Personal and Workplace Investing to complete business planning and business analytics.
Primary Responsibilities * Provide in-depth analyses of underlying business trends * Access and interpret extensive data from CPP, PL and financial systems * Work with brokerage and cash management teams to develop multi year plans including cost, benefit and sensitivity analyses * Work with brokerage and cash management teams to develop annual business plans and budgets * Ad hoc business and financial analyses as needed by Brokerage and Cash Management partners and senior management * Development of presentation ready materials to communicate the results of analyses
Education and Experience * A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent training * Minimum of 3-5 years of more advanced accounting or financial analysis/operations work experience is required.
Skills and Knowledge * Extensive knowledge of the brokerage industry is required. * Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills as well as ability to make independent decisions and manage projects is required. * Ability to work independently across the organization while demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills are required. * Extensive understanding of financial/accounting principles and the ability to implement these principles in daily work is required. * Expertise in computer spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel) and modeling software as well as management information (Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Discoverer) is preferred.
