Description
Reporting to the Financial Analysis Team Leader, this position significantly contributes towards the overall financial management, reporting, and analytical support of Corporate operating expenses for the actual, budget, quarterly forecast, and 3 year SOF reporting cycles. This includes the following key tasks:
Monthly close and reporting of actuals, including but not limited to, monitoring of departmental budgets, recording of journal entries, account reconciliations
Coordination of reporting activities with Corporate cost center leaders for various actual, forecast, budget, and 3 year SOF planning deliverables and analyses
Planning and reporting of Corporate salary and benefits
Quarterly consolidation and reporting of global audit and non-audit fees
Provide direct financial support to Corporate cost center leaders and Senior Corporate Finance Management
Participate in Sarbanes Oxley Compliance work through review of control documentation, performance testing, etc.
Participate on project teams and prepare adhoc financial analyses as required
Additional skills required for this role include strong oral and written communication in order to interact independently with all levels of management. It is also incumbent upon this individual to identify, understand, and recommend solutions to operational, management, and accounting issues.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA/ MBA preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills are required with specific focus on Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, IF statements). SAP, Business Warehouse and Hyperion strongly preferred. 4 + years experience with a strong background in the areas of general accounting and reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
