Financial Analyst
The main function of this position is to ensure that all Participants are in compliance with the terms of company policies; assessing the financial ability of a Market Participant to pay for service under the Tariff including its share of expenses; to be the Subject Matter Expert for company policies. In addition, this position is responsible for the administrative duties of the department and for providing customer support to Participants as it may relate to the provisions of the company n Duties: * Ensuring customers comply with the company policies by monitoring and updating customers' positions using proprietary systems and Excel software, in addition to notifying defaulting customers via telephone and email, and suspending non-compliant customers by commencing the cross-departmental Suspension Procedure.* Following all established procedures to ensure compliance with the Tariff.* Assessing the financial ability of a Market Participant to pay for service under the Tariff and to pay its share of expenses requiring data entry (both manual and automated) into the software system and interpreting the results; * Communication of financial assurance requirements and deadlines to defaulting participants, requiring initial outreach via phone and email as well as follow-up as necessary;* Enforcing Market Participant adherence to the requirements associated with the alternate forms of security by way of meticulous review of investment account applications, or letters of credit language for compliance against the company's template language; * Performing analysis of customers' financial statements, and utilizing other available tools and data such as monitoring credit default swap spreads, to determine the financial strength of the customer and any significant changes in financial strength, among other analyses as imum Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business management* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)* Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills * Understanding of financial statements* Ability to multi-task * Attention to detailNice to haves:* Prior customer service experience* Proficiency in Oracle Discoverer* Proficiency in Microsoft Visio* Consulting Industry Experience
