WNA, a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of upscale plastic products in the food service industry, has the following employment opportunity: Financial Analyst As a vital member of the Pricing Team, the Analyst will work closely with the Pricing & Programs Manager, the WNA Sales and Marketing team, and various other departments to develop and enhance all aspects of WNA's pricing and programs in a manner consistent with corporate objectives and philosophies. The Analyst is responsible for: Calculating and evaluating account/business profitability. Developing price quotations and addressing pricing issues and inquiries. Analyzing, compiling and tracking market pricing intelligence and raw material trends. Evaluating and analyzing competitive situations, bench mark pricing and the strategic relevance of business opportunities. Working with the Programs Analyst to ensure customer rebate programs are thoroughly audited and accurately paid per the terms and conditions as stated in our contractual agreements. Various special projects on an ad-hoc basis. The following skills and characteristics are required for this entry to mid level position: The Analyst must have excellent Excel skills, as well as proficiency in Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate is capable of rapidly learning new software for the generation and analysis of reports out of WNA's internal computer systems. The Analyst must be methodical, organized, attentive to detail, results orientated, flexible, and able to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks simultaneously. The Analyst must have strong written and oral communications skills. A proven ability to negotiate in high pressure situations is a strong plus. The Analyst must possess the highest business ethics and professionalism in maintaining corporate confidentiality and strictly adhering to applicable laws and operating procedures. Occasional travel to customer meetings, trade shows and sales meetings is required. Salary is commensurate with appropriate background and experience.
