Jefferson Wells is an Equal Opportunity Employer. * Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Finance required * MBA or other advanced degree preferred * CPA preferred * Minimum of five (5) years experience in the general areas of accounting services including a mix of public accounting (Big 4), consulting and industry experience (i.e. Controller, Accounting Manager) required * Broad understanding of processes and activities that occur within the accounting and finance function of public and private companies * Deep understanding of one or more accounting functions (Accounts Payable, Treasury, Financial Reporting etc) * Experience with preparation and analysis of financial statements and consolidated financial results * Strong familiarity with SEC regulations and FASB pronouncements preferred * Experience working in a professional services environment preferred * Analytic ability to identify problems and arrive at practical solutions * Strong communication skills * Willingness and ability to travel
