Finance: Joint Venture & Production Revenue Business Process Lead is responsible for definition of business processes within the Joint Venture & Production Revenue Accounting (JV & PRA) area of the Americas Financial Template (AFT); oversees Business Process Analysts within the corresponding process area; provides input to the AFT Design Authority, representing change request impact analyses and completion of impact assessments. Works with the Functional Architect to design and deliver improvements in the business process and functional design for the current solution to the agreed standards and principles. Support scoping activities, lead fit/gap analysis, and ensure the integrity of the functional design. Supports the AFT Process & Data Team Manager with process expertise; champions/facilitates Super User networks: identifies system/process operational issues, shares best practices, and promotes application capability awareness. Manages the timely and cost effective resolution of issues. Understands the JV & PRA process functional design and is recognized as a subject matter expert for simplification of business processes in this area.
Responsibilities may include:
•Understand and document current JV & PRA business requirements, providing detailed input for process and data mapping.
•Provide functional design work required to implement an increasingly standardized AFT.
•Analyze both new business requirements arising from implementation activities and requests for new functionality from existing implementations. Design solutions to meet these needs.
•Approve any changes to the process and solution configuration within accountability ensuring that these changes meet the needs of the business. Consistently seek integration and convergence of business processes at a global level.
•Ensure completion of relevant documentation for the design, business processes, configuration, and functional specifications. Also includes content input for business training documents.
•Assess the impact of change requests as a result from integrated modules and legacy systems (inbound and outbound interfaces). Promote active communication and participation within the business process area to accelerate understanding and coherent decision-making.
•Execute the requirements management process encompassing general awareness and background research, conduct of fit/gap meetings and workshops with business stakeholders. Document and communicate decisions and specifications. Examples of this will include leading and participation in fit-gap analysis for projects and user group meetings as part of the ongoing support framework.
•Promoting a common design for the Americas systems and supporting SAP solution across the Group and providing guidance to other implementations (i.e., GFT) as and when required.
•Drive and develop the JV & PRA business process area project plan and deliverables.
•Ensure design governance policies are adhered to in order to maintain functional design integrity – i.e., fit for purpose, global, and generic SAP in nature.
•Ensure all change requests are fully understood, impact assessments completed, the appropriate business justification has been received, and funding approved.
•Establish strong working relationships with IT&S technology and architecture team leads, functional counterparts, vendors, and related business partners.
•Select, develop and motivate Business Process Analysts with the skills to lead, design, develop and support process and configuration design that meet business objectives for the relevant process area.
•Planning, tracking, and oversight of work carried out by the business process team (including any 3rd parties), including task estimation, prioritization, setting of objectives, and performance management for individual team members.
Required:
•BA or BS degree
•4+ years of relevant work experience with systems (SAP)and process design
•2 + years experience in SAP JV & PRA processes

•Professional qualifications (CPA) and/or advanced degree (MBA)
•6 Sigma certification
•Project Management Institute certification
•SAP certification
The Finance Function fulfills three key activities: to report financial and operational results, both internally and externally, with independence and integrity; to support business performance management and planning processes by using consistent data collection and reporting processes; and to integrate financial and commercial processes to enable end to end optimization. Finance also supports the development of annual and long term plans, strategies and performance management processes as well as provides economic analysis and Group Investment Assurance and Approval Process (GIAAP) support for business opportunities, investments and other specific projects as needed.
