FULL JOB DESCRIPTION CAN BE FOUND AT . The Finance Director provides leadership to the organization in making sound financial decision. Manages accounting and finance operations of the agency. Ensures compliance with OMB Fiscal, Administrative requirements, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Provides timely analysis of spending trends, revenue and recommends course corrections as needed. Specific Job Qualifications for this position: 1. BA degree in Accounting plus 3 years experience as an accountant (high school and 10 years experience as a full charge bookkeeper or accountant may substitute) 2. Thorough knowledge of cost accounting principles 3. Thorough knowledge of computerized accounting system 4. Excellent computer and typing skills 5. Tactful people skills 6. Ability to work independently 7. Excellent organizational skills 8. Non-profit accounting experience preferred 9. Ability to work flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends and any/all hours needed to complete job description requirements.
