Salary Range $65,000 - $72,000 DOQ + comprehensive benefits package. The City of Rockford operates under the Council/Manager form of government with a $7 million budget including all funds and transfers. The Finance Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of financial matters including accounting and information technology operation and the management of an office staff including City Treasurer, Assessor, Clerk and Accounting Clerk. DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1) Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in accounting, finance, or closely related field; and 2) Five years of progressively responsible related experience including three years of experience in supervision.
