The Business Unit Controller will lead the financial strategy of a specific business unit within a region of the US. Ideally this individual will be mobile by region both nationally and internationally. Management Consulting experience is highly preferred Key Responsibilities will include: Finance function strategy Finance process optimization Management and performance reporting Finance Organizational Efficiency Finance and accounting BPO Finance Shared services strategyThe Business Unit Controller will have full responsibility for finance and operations for new and growing business unit. This individual must be able to: Work independently with little supervision Manage a large team, both onshore and offshore (India), to produce accurate financial statements Provide forecasts for management to run the business. Upgrade financial knowledge and processes of the team. Communicate financial results to Senior Leadership Educate Project Managers on financial issues and act as a trusted advisor to Business Unit Management. Approve pricing and contractual terms on large deals. Manage revenue/invoice processes and cash flow Who we are looking for :
The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics: Class A, highly driven individual International experience, geographically mobile Best in class Education and Qualifications - BS in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred Blend of Big 5 and Commercial industry background 10-15 years experience total Experience within management consultancy or professional services firm is a must Experience with operational control, reporting, business strategy, profitability analysis, in a client-facing, commercial capacity Soft skills: Analytical, entrepreneurial, intuitive, decisive, independent thinker yet team player, commercial acumen and excellent communicator Experience with major ERP systems, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft including General Ledger experience Should have: Experience with Bank Holding Company formation, Regulatory Reporting, Average Daily Balance (non technology) Experience with implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and technology driven transformation programs Experience with lifecycle of business and process transformation including analysis, business requirements Experience managing mixed teams, including clients and contractors with both business and technical backgrounds (include offshore teams). Experience analyzing, designing and implementing large scale strategic solutions. Strong communication experience; ability to interact effectively with people at all levels What's on offer :
