The ideal candidates will have been a Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller with strong knowledge and experience in some of the following areas: * Month-End Close and Financial Reporting * Management Reporting and Analytics * General Ledger Accounting and Account Reconciliations * Accounts Receivable including Billing and Collections * Accounts Payable * Payroll * Inventory * Fixed Assets * Treasury and Cash Management * Policies and Procedures Documentation * Financial Planning and Analysis Professionals (i.e., Consultants) at Jefferson Wells are the driving force for our success. Jefferson Wells is an Equal Opportunity Employer. * Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Finance required * CPA preferred * Minimum of 5 years experience in the general areas of accounting operations including a mix of public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and some industry experience * Experience as a Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller with strong working knowledge and experience in various aspects of the accounting operations of an organization * Strong understanding of processes and activities that occur within the accounting and finance operations of public and private companies * Experience in process improvement and creating operational efficiencies * Analytic ability to identify problems and arrive at practical solutions * Strong written and verbal communication skills including strong documentation skills * ERP implementation experience a plus * Project management experience a plus
