Job Description Provide support to the implementation of new or enhanced enterprise reporting (ERP), financial reporting and consolidation, and planning and budgeting systems (currently SAP, Microsoft AX, Hyperion Enterprise and Essbase). Engage in analysis of various business and financial reporting needs, helping to determine appropriate system configuration and process design to meet those global needs. Working closely with Finance and other business leaders in impacted countries and/or regions to ensure systems and business processes are defined and designed to ensure efficient, effective and standardized financial reporting that supports compliance with both USGAAP and local statutory reporting (i.e. IFRS) needs.
Duties/Responsibilities 1)Support implementation or enhancement to ERP systems by: Gathering and analyzing GAAP, statutory/IFRS, tax, management reporting, contractual and operational needs to determine best system and process solution. Adapting processes from prior implementations to new countries so that we meet statutory needs while maintaining global consistency where possible. Determine and document new processes. Support system configuration testing.
2)As part of implementation work, design financial reporting processes in support of various intercompany transactions, production cost accumulation, COGS and inventory reporting.
3)Support implementation or enhancement to financial reporting and consolidation and planning and budgeting programs by: Working with Corporate Accounting and Planning and Budgeting groups to determine required DuPont or Pioneer management reporting requirements. Support system solution design and configuration that meets management's needs in the most efficient and effective manner.
Educational Qualifications Desired Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related area, CPA/MBA desired, but not required.
Competencies and Experience Desired 3-5 years of relevant work experience, including experience in actuals accounting and budgeting processes.
Strong computer skills (Excel, Essbase, Access), including report writing skills a plus.
Financial systems experiences (SAP, Hyperion, Microsoft AX a plus)
Ability to travel, including international travel. (15% or less on an annual basis)
Ability to adjust work day schedule on an occasional basis in order to accommodate for working with project team members in different time zones.
