Job Description
The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic team environment responsible for performing nonlinear finite element analysis for various manufacturing operations and processes, including but not limited to; heat treat & quench, fluids, structural analysis of equipment, joining & welding, casting, forming, and physics based machining analysis, to aid in; component' producibility, process understanding, development of best methods, process controls, and process improvements. Strong analytical skills are needed to perform the finite element analysis and support tool improvements and standard work development.
Hands on problem solving of complex control systems.
Must be US citizen or green card holder.

Minimum of 10 years performing nonlinear finite element structural, or coupled thermal-structural analyses. Several years of this experience should be in support of manufacturing processes. Must be able to mentor others, effectively communicate and work in a team environment. Must have ability to lead a project to solve complex problems.
The candidate should have successfully demonstrated analytical skills and the application of process modeling theory to solve complex process boundary system problems. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of process modeling software, including but not limited to; ANSYS, Marc, Sysweld, Procast, Deform, etc. The candidate must have demonstrated the ability to work at the implementation level to resolve problems. Previous aerospace and military project experience preferred.
