Summary:
The Executive Director of Pharmacy Services directs pharmacy operations to ensure alignment with the mission, values and objectives of the department and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Directs the development and implementation of practices, policies and procedures in all functional areas of the department.
- Accountable for staffing and capacity planning for the department.
- Oversees the development and monitoring of, and compliance with, departmental budget(s).
- Utilizes broad knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements to direct departmental operations and ensure accountability for the department's compliance with the same.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science, Seven years of experience as a hospital staff pharmacist required.
- Three years of hospital pharmacy management experience required.
- Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy required.
- Master's Level Degree, Master's degree preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred.
- Current licensure as a Pharmacist in the state of Florida required.
- Consultant Pharmacy license or eligible in the state of Florida required.
