Job Description:

AEGON Capital Management

Summary:

Ability to provide exceptional support to the President/CEO as well as the Sr. VP's Fixed Income & Equities, VP Marketing & Director of Operations & Compliance & respective teams

Responsibilities:

. Provide Support for the President/CEO, Sr. VP's, VP's & Director of Ops & Compliance and AEGON Capital Management team
. Calendar management including anticipating and assisting in preparation for meetings, prioritizing and organizing emails and requests for material review
. Meeting arrangements
. Organise and maintain filing system for fixed income/equity teams
. Expense report preparation, credit card statements, processing of invoices & purchase orders, etc.
. Responsible for all aspects of Petty Cash distribution, reconciliation and replenishment via Finance Department
. Help Management team with budget related issues including the marketing budget.
. Analyse variance reports & produce monthly recap report to direct reports
. Coordinate travel arrangements involving business travel including air, hotel & car bookings
. Trade Support, including settlement of trades, Input Daily Futures & Forwards Trades to generate trade tickets, Weekly & Monthly reporting to 3rd Party clients and other tasks as required.

Qualifications:

. Post secondary education (College or University)
. Investment Management Industry experience a definite asset
. Minimum 3 years related work experience
. Demonstrated extremely strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and accurate, high work standards with a "total quality" mindset
. Superior time and project management abilities
. Must be able to proactively manage work by effectively anticipating priorities and potential deliverables based on developing knowledge of ACM's business
. Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities/situations with ease
. Team player
. Customer service oriented
. Proficient in MS Software with strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
. Strong command of the English language with grammar and proof reading skills required
. Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining efficient administrative processes and systems
. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
. Professional, tactful
. Confident decision maker
