Job Description

The PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Office advances and fosters integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organization. We promote and monitor compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures, and thus help manage PwC's regulatory, litigation and reputational risk.

The Global E&C group is responsible for all aspects of the global firms ethics & compliance programs, including various deleivery centers either owned by or with a US interest.

Position/Program Requirements

Knowledge Preferred:

Extensive knowledge and experience in ethics, compliance and related topics and policies that are applied in support of a public accounting firm's Ethics & Compliance strategic priorities.

Demonstrated knowledge in areas such as FCPA and export control compliance is helpful. Knowledge, or a proven ability to acquire such knowledge, in the ethics and compliance considerations for the locations where the Service Delivery Centers (SDC) operate.

Demonstrated knowledge of the local ethics and compliance environment.

Demonstrated knowledge of new and emerging local requirements (for SDC locations).

Skills Preferred:

Proven ability to successfully implement and manage ethics and compliance areas at Service Delivery Centers.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders through periodic meetings, participation in joint initiatives and frequency/quality of interactions .

Demonstrated proactiveness and frequency in outreach and engagement with SDC contacts.

Proven ability to apply a thorough understanding of Ethics & Compliance functions in a public accounting firm to effectively and successfully drive strategic priorities.

Proven ability to implement program elements in support of new compliance requirements in a timely and successful fashion.

This role will be expected to apply their expertise and functional understanding to solve complex problems and develop solutions/provide guidance accordingly . This role will have direct influence and impact on a cross-LoS basis across the US Firm as it relates to the stated compliance areas and indirect influence and impact on the ethics and compliance programs of the SDC. This role maintains the highest standard of customer service in the provision of information and expertise and is expected to demonstrate considerable initiative and proactivity.

Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) or 12 years of Ethics & Compliance experience
