Estimating & Pricing Specialist 4
The Commercial Aviation Services Business Unit has an opening for an Estimating and Pricing Analyst. The selected candidate will develop innovative, complex business cases and alternative analysis for new business opportunities, potential acquisitions, capital investment decisions and pricing alternatives affecting future cash flow, earnings, market share and competitiveness. Collaborate on the development of the statement of work, identify cost drivers, provide risk and benefit analysis. Develop cost estimates and pricing recommendations in support of Price Boards, Profitable Growth for All (PGAs) and Customer proposals. Develops and maintains relationships with a range of internal customers from business and program leaders to sales team to estimating peers. Develop internal controls and metrics to ensure compliance.
This position requires a strong foundation in estimating and pricing, Basis of Estimate build up, and business case knowledge across parts, systems, and conceptual design/product development.

Extensive, specialized knowledge of pricing methods (e.g., cost based, fee based, value based, comparative based, market based pricing) in order to recommend the appropriate approach. .

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
